Web Developer / Graphic Designer
Job Description: The primary responsibility for this position is building and designing responsive websites using HubSpot, WordPress, or other similar CMS. A philosophy of intuitive website design is very important, as well as proficiency in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. SEO- you will improve organic search rankings, drive more traffic, and generate new inbound links from high-authority websites. You will also be required to provide graphic design services for print, online, digital ads, billboards, etc. as needed. You may also be required to assist with photography, video shooting, and editing as needed. Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Experience in Website Design & Development using WordPress, HubSpot or other CMS.
• Experience with graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Proficiency coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
• Experience with HubSpot software is preferred (HubSpot Certification trainings will be provided to the successful hire).
• Fluency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.
• Graphic design skills
• HubSpot certifications and their upkeep is essential
General working hours will be Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Website design and development, graphic design of logos, infographics, print materials and other marketing materials as needed. Implementation of proper analytics and search engine optimization techniques, as well as responsive design coding and enthusiastic, creative problem-solving. Also- development and distribution of written content for clients as well as internal use, including blogs, news releases, articles, web copy, email campaigns, newsletter, and other content development as needed.
This position will involve attending pertinent client meetings to understand their goals, working closely with our content development team to develop the best strategies to achieve those goals, and responding to questions in a timely fashion. Do to its unique nature, this position especially will require excellent time management and the ability to make progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a full-time position and will require 40 hours per week. General working hours will be Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm; However, there may be occasions where you will be asked to work odd/late hours in order to meet specific deadlines.
You will be expected to use multiple tools and platforms including WordPress, Hubspot, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and others as needed. It is vital to stay up to date with new technology and techniques in order to provide the most effective and cutting-edge services to our clients.
